DURING MY GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIED, AS PART OF A UX/UI COURSE. I DESIGNED AN APP FOR SELLING ARTWORKS AT AFFORDABLE PRICES.
NOWADAYS MANY APPS OFFER A WIDE ARRAY OF ART WORKS FOR SALE.
HOWEVER, THE PRICES LISTED FOR THESE ART WORKS IN THE APPS ARE USUALLY ABOVE THE AVERAGE INCOME WORKER'S MEANS. THEREFORE, MANY PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD THEM. ART FANS WHO HAVE LOWER SOCIO- ECONOMIC STATUS WILL STRUGGLE TO PURCHASE ANY ART, WHETHER ITS FOR DECORATION OR COLLECTION, DUE TO THE HIGH PRICES LISTED.
"US" OFFERS A PLATFORM FOR LISTING ARTWORKS THAT CAN BE PURCHASED FOR 150$ OR LESS. THE PRINCIPLE BEHIND IS THE LOVE OF ART AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PROMOTING ACCESSIBILITY TO ART WORKS WHILE ALSO MAKING SUCH A ACCESS AFFORDABLE.

THE APP'S PROMISE IS ALLOWING EVERYONE TO ENJOY ART. THEREFORE, THE AUDIENCE'S STATUS IS VARIED. SPECIFICALLY, THE APP TURNS TO PEOPLE WITH AN AFFINITY FOR ART BETWEEN THE AGES 20 - 50.
